During this 30-minute guided tour of the Fragonard Museum, you’ll enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience and find out all there is to know about perfumery.
You will be led through the various sections of the museum, in which your knowledgeable guide will explain the manufacturing process, from the selection of raw material to inserting the fragrance into individual bottles. Find out the work it takes to give pleasure to our sense of smell.
Admire the large collection of old perfume bottles housed in the museum. Besides, you’ll go back in time to Ancient Egypt to discover the history of this essence. Your guide will also explain how Fragonard was founded by perfume-makers from Grasse. This city in the south of France is believed to be the world capital of perfume, and where the novel Perfume was set.
