We'll meet at 3 pm at the Place Saint Michel, in Paris' Latin Quarter, and begin to discover the fascinating lives of some of the most influential women in France.
The first stop will be next to the Panthéon, where we'll learn about Marie Curie. The influential scientist became the world's first woman to be awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize. We'll also see where the remains of the famous lawyer and politician Simone Veil, a survivor of the Holocaust, are kept.
After this visit, we'll discover the story of Olympe de Gouges, an 18th century women's rights activist. Our next stop will be to head inside the Shakespeare & Co bookshop and uncover the relationship between Sylvia Beach, Gertrude Stein and the French capital.
Next, we'll move over to Marie Antoinette's life in the Luxembourg Gardens and go to the prestigious Sorbonne University. Here, we'll find out more about the institution's relationship with Simone de Beauvoir.
The tour of Famous Parisian Women can't finish without learning about the life of the famous designer Coco Chanel. We'll look back at the life of one of the most influential people in the fashion industry before ending at the Pantheon in Paris at 5:30 pm.
