This is a must in your trip to Paris. First thing you should do, no doubt. Thomas is a great guide, you can see how passionate he is about his work. He takes you back and forth in time through Paris’ history, while you walk around its most significative buildings. Most importantly, he shares many tips and tricks that will really make your visit to the city better than any other tourist who didn’t take this tour.

I can't remember the name of our tour guide but his name is from Normandy, anyway the tour was everything I expected it to be and more, it lasted 2 hours so a little less than promised, regardless of that the explanations were great, he had an answer to every single question and was also a really funny guy, I 100% recommend taking this tour

We had Dawie and he truly was the best tour guide we have had in a long time. This was our 7th tour in our trip through Europe and the one we won’t forget. He was so thorough yet comical, he was very engaging and energetic kept everyone paying attention. We also enjoyed the punctuality, attention to detail regarding warning us about pickpocketing, how to safely cross the roads, etc. We learned so much about Paris and wished we had booked more tours with him! Highly recommend!!!

Make sure to take this tour with Thomas. It is just amazing. It was the highlight of my visit to Paris. The best walking tour I ever had (and I have had a lot). Beside being very handsome, Thomas knows how to keep you entertained with good jokes and interesting information while visiting some of the most important sites in Paris. It was great, Dawie was very informative and gave a great introduction to the city (I recommend doing it at the start of your trip). Tour helps you decide what to do for the rest of your Paris stay. Definitely didn’t cover everything in detail, it’s pretty basic but awesome to be free (with a tip!)

Thomas was magnificent! He was insightful and humourous (British style so you have to get used to it). We particularly liked the way he did some sketches all by himself to get the stories across (you will get it if you know a little bit of French). We were truly happy with the tips and hacks he gave for Senne cruise and literally showing the tunnel to bypass the queue to the Louvre. Do this you won't regret. Oh ya, instead of a yellow umbrella, Thomas came in a minion bag and an Irish flag.

Friendly guide, interesting explanations and lots of badges. Genealogical trees and dates in measure, and suitable connections with lifestyles and social issues in the people of the times. He is an atheist, and thank God for not walking. And the curiosities and interesting things he tells me. Alexa was a great guide. She was engaging and entertaining. She spike knowledgeably and was able to clear misconceptions about historical events. Alexa had a clear voice which was very ably projected through her speaker. She explained things well and asked whether we had any questions, engaging willingly with her audience, looking them in the eye and understanding difference between people. Her couple of pages of special notes and info about Paris were excellent, her ‘tips’ were very useful.

At the start of the tour our guide Thomas Carter asked us if we were ready for the best day of our lives. I won't go that far but I can say without hesitation it was certainly the best tour of my life. Thom delivered his impressive and seemingly infinite knowledge of Paris - a city he has only lived in for 6 years - with the wit, charm & effervescence of someone who truly loves history, culture and indeed people. Thomas was excellent!! It went by so fast! We got a LOT of history, and he explained it in a funny way with pop culture references, making it easier to understand and remember. 10/10 recommended for those who want to look around and get to know Paris and its amazing history. Our walkative tour was really excellent. The Guide.. Eva she is friendly, interactive, and extremely passionate what she does. While in the walk tour not only she spoke about the french and Roman history about all the famous monuments but also shared a lot tips how to plan your visit at Paris. We covered the main city center places e.g , Paris Tourist office. Norte dam cathedral, Palasi Royal, louvre museum, the glass pyramid, and the lock bridge. A must recommended tour on 1st day at Paris.

Our tour guide David was amazing, although we booked our tour in english they informed us last minute that the tour was going to be in spanish cause the guide tour was sick, I’m Mexican and I understand everything but sadly my husband wasn’t able to understand a word, he is American, that is the only bad thing I can say about the tour, but the rest was amazing

Eva was very knowledgeable about the history of Paris and the tour covered many of the traditional tourist sights. She was considerate of the guests, trying to keep us out of the rain and stopping in places where we could sit. I would suggest that she be more accommodating of guests who need a restroom break.

The guides try to offer some stops during the tour so that participants can rest and go to the bathroom. We regret that this was not the case.

We were a group of seven - and some of us found the tour group a bit too big (roghly 40 oder 50 people in the beginning). Others said the explanations were a bit to dry. Others again did like the tour and info - and the guide herself - very much. In the end we did not complete the tour which was supposed to last for 2,5 hours, we would have been a bit long.

As usual, the "Free Walking Tours" do not disappoint. Unfortunately, I don't remember our tour guide's name, but she did a great job taking us to interesting parts of Paris in the area of Louvre and slightly east, punctuating our stops with detailed historical information. I highly recommend the Free Walking Tour, and will definitely do it agian.

The guide is very passionate when talking about the monuments that we visited, it was delightful to see and experience! And the quality of information she gave was great, I’ve learned a lot in a short time. Unfortunately I had to leave the tour earlier but the first hour and a half were very satisfactory!
